Ecovis is now also offering legal services in Taiwan

After cooperating successfully with our Taipei colleagues of ECOVIS Taiwan for many years, we are glad to welcome TAK ASSOCIES – Member of ECOVIS International to our network.

Taiwan is one of the Four Asian Tiger territories. It is characterized by a highly developed economy which ranks among the top 30 worldwide (with GDP – PPP – per capita higher than 47,000 USD – 2015). The capital of Taiwan is Taipei, which lies at the northern tip of the island of Taiwan. Taipei is one of the global cities in the production of high technology and its components. Commerce, transportation, and banking are sectors of rising importance for the Taiwanese economy.

TAK ASSOCIES – Member of ECOVIS International was established in 2011 by Pascal Thien-Ah-Koon. He is supported by three more professionals. They provide legal consulting and assistance to multinational cooperations and small & medium-sized enterprises operating in Taiwan, and also to European clients and to North American clients (Canada and the United States of America). The firm presents the specific positioning to be a foreign law firm, which adds up to a total of less than 90 admitted foreign lawyers in Taiwan. As of today, there is almost no European law firm established directly in Taiwan. One exception is Pascal Thien-Ah-Koon with TAK ASSOCIES – Member of ECOVIS International.
