Tristan de La Rivière began his career as an Avocat à la Cour in Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity, in the Paris Office of a leading Multinational Business Law Firm (Salans-Dentons).

In 2013, Tristan joined a Bordeaux-based business law firm as an Avocat à la Cour experienced in Business Law, Corporate Law and Contract Law. On behalf of this firm, he founded the secondary office on Reunion Island and was its operational director until 2016.

In 2017, Tristan de La Rivière joined CF Société d'Avocats as a Founding Partner and is in charge of leading the Business Law practice: corporate and group structuring, disposals and acquisitions, contractual engineering.

Tristan holds a post-graduate degree in Corporate and Tax Law and a Certificate in Finance and Management from EDHEC Business School.

For 15 years, Tristan was a lecturer in Mergers and Acquisitions at ECOA (Ecole des Avocats des Cours d'appel d'Angers, Bourges, Orléans and Poitiers). He has also taught Mergers and Acquisitions at the Université de La Réunion.

In 2023, the Business Law department, under Tristan's direction, won 2nd place in Business Law - Mergers & Acquisitions in the Palmarès du Droit, which recognizes the best law firms in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
