What is PIO Card? Persons of Indian Origin
Card (PIO Card) is a form of identification issued to a Person of Indian Origin who holds a passport in another country other than Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.

What is the Eligibility for getting the PIO Card?
Every person of Indian origin who is a citizen of another country, NOT being a citizen of any country that may be specified by the Gov- ernment of India from time to time, will be eligible to apply for PIO Card if:
